Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest cotton, corn, and sorghum crops
- Perform field maintenance including weed control, fertilization, and pest management
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness for harvest
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities according to safety standards
- Assist with crop transportation and storage logistics
- Adhere to all H2A program regulations and workplace safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 6 months of prior crop farming experience
- Ability to operate agricultural machinery with proper training
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work 45-55 hours per week during peak season
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
