Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack citrus fruits and seasonal vegetables according to quality standards
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Maintain field cleanliness and crop monitoring for pest/disease detection
- Assist with planting, pruning, and general farm maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and labor regulations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 6 months prior agriculture/farm experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, sun, dust)
- Basic English communication skills for safety compliance
- Physical stamina for manual labor (bending, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Flexible availability to work weekends and early morning shifts
