Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (corn, soybeans, wheat)
- Monitor crop health and implement pest/disease control protocols
- Perform equipment calibration and daily maintenance checks
- Adhere to all safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Document daily production activities and inventory levels
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize field operations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status or eligibility for H2A sponsorship
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural machinery experience
- Ability to operate tractors, planters, and harvesters independently
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts in varying weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for farm equipment
- Ability to follow detailed bilingual (English/Spanish) instructions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
