Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and farm equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and sort harvested produce onto trucks or pallets.
- Ensure fields are free of weeds and pests to promote optimal crop health.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and farm management guidelines at all times.
- Assist in general farm maintenance, including fence repair and irrigation checks.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship or eligibility is required.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or crop harvesting is preferred but not always required for qualified candidates.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime.
