Responsibilities
- Perform manual planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops (tomatoes, peppers, sweet potatoes)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, irrigation systems, and harvesting equipment
- Maintain crop quality through proper sorting, cleaning, and packing procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and pesticide handling guidelines
- Assist with field maintenance including weeding, pruning, and irrigation management
- Participate in crop monitoring and pest control activities
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Basic understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Previous farm experience preferred but not required
- Clean background check and reliable transportation
