Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, nuts)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Inspect crops for quality and maintain field hygiene standards
- Apply pesticides/fertilizers following EPA regulations
- Package and prepare produce for distribution
- Work in diverse weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Follow H2A program guidelines and employer instructions
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 1 year commercial farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts, 6 days/week
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Reliable transportation to farm location
