Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest cotton, corn, and sorghum crops
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Perform irrigation system setup, maintenance, and repair
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental standards
- Assist with packing and loading harvested produce
- Participate in seasonal field inspections and quality control
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of commercial farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic machinery operation certification preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts during peak seasons
- Valid driver's license (Class A preferred)
- English/Spanish bilingual skills advantageous
