Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy agricultural equipment such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Participate in planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops according to strict quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on provided machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Load and unload crops, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production quotas efficiently.
- Assist in general farm duties, including fence repair and field preparation.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid H2A visa or be eligible for sponsorship (Western Harvest LLC sponsors eligible candidates).
- Previous experience operating agricultural machinery is preferred but not always required.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to team success.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
