Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops (fruits, vegetables, or row crops) according to seasonal schedules.
- Operate and maintain heavy agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and sprayers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as weeding, thinning, and pruning to ensure optimal crop quality.
- Inspect crops for pests and diseases, reporting issues to supervisors immediately.
- Pack harvested produce and load onto trucks for transport to processing facilities.
- Ensure all farm equipment is cleaned and stored safely after use.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for or currently hold a valid H2A visa (US Citizenship/residency is also considered).
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or general labor is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available for flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
