Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, weeding, and harvesting crops in accordance with agricultural standards.
- Operate and maintain provided heavy agricultural machinery and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and farm-specific guidelines at all times.
- Load and unload produce, supplies, and materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet daily production targets and quality assurance goals.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area and storage facilities.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods (8-12 hours) in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the harvest season.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow safety instructions for equipment operation.
- For international applicants: Must be eligible to work under H2A visa sponsorship and provide valid documentation.
- Reliable personal transportation to the Jersey City worksite.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
