Responsibilities
- Harvesting: Perform manual labor to harvest crops (e.g., corn, soybeans, vegetables) using hand tools and machinery.
- Cultivation: Assist in planting, weeding, and maintaining crop health throughout the growing season.
- Machinery Operation: Operate tractors, combines, and other agricultural equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Quality Control: Ensure harvested produce meets quality standards by sorting and grading.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily work logs and timesheets.
Qualifications
- Legal Status: Must currently possess a valid H2A visa or be eligible for H2A sponsorship.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or labor-intensive work is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time seasonal work (May - October) with reliable attendance.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency required to understand safety protocols and instructions.
- ID: Valid government-issued photo ID or passport.
