Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops such as pecans, chile, and hay.
- Operate farm machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Monitor crop health and apply necessary irrigation and fertilization methods.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Pack harvested produce according to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders and farm managers regarding daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for or willing to obtain H2A visa sponsorship.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive motions in outdoor environments.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English are required.
- Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
- Previous experience in farming, landscaping, or agricultural labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, depending on harvest seasons.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team setting.
