Responsibilities
- Crop Production: Perform manual labor tasks including planting seeds, weeding, and thinning crops to ensure optimal growth conditions.
- Harvesting: Gently harvest produce according to strict quality and safety standards to minimize waste and maximize yield.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate and maintain agricultural machinery and hand tools as required by the specific role.
- Farm Maintenance: Assist in general farm upkeep, including irrigation, fencing, and general site cleanliness.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a diverse team to meet daily production quotas and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (or hold a valid H2A visa).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
- Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or manual labor is preferred but not always required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, seasonal work immediately.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for following instructions and safety briefings.
