Responsibilities
- Harvest and sort seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, grains) according to quality standards
- Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols and environmental guidelines
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to supervisors
- Assist in planting, transplanting, and cultivating crops using precision agriculture techniques
- Maintain farm cleanliness and organize storage areas
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all workplace regulations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
