Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, berries)
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness for harvest
- Apply pest control measures and fertilizers according to protocols
- Package and prepare harvested produce for market shipment
- Perform general farm maintenance and equipment repairs
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa program sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year of commercial farming experience required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
