Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting of seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, berries)
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely
- Sort, clean, and package produce according to quality standards
- Apply integrated pest management techniques under supervision
- Assist with irrigation system setup and maintenance
- Adhere to all OSHA and H2A program regulations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (foreign national)
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural/harvesting experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic English communication skills (written/verbal)
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Flexible schedule including weekends and extended hours
- Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Pass background check and drug screening
