Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Perform manual tasks: planting, pruning, thinning, and harvesting crops
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to EPA guidelines
- Monitor crop health and report issues to farm supervisors
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and H2A program requirements
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 1 year commercial farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in heat
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts including weekends
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Clean background check
