Located in Stockton's agricultural heartland, you'll work alongside a diverse team growing premium crops including tomatoes, almonds, and wine grapes. We provide comprehensive training and prioritize safety in all operations. This seasonal position offers a pathway to gain valuable U.S. agricultural experience while supporting California's food supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Perform crop harvesting duties including hand-picking, sorting, and packing produce
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to EPA and OSHA guidelines
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to supervisors
- Maintain field cleanliness and proper storage of harvested crops
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and water management
- Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
- Participate in pre-harvest preparation and post-harvest cleanup
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status or eligibility for H2A sponsorship
- Minimum 6 months documented agricultural work experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills (Spanish speakers preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts during peak harvest season
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
