Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including lettuce, spinach, and peppers
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to supervisors
- Perform irrigation system maintenance and field irrigation duties
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for shipment according to quality standards
- Adhere to all H2A program regulations and workplace safety guidelines
- Assist in greenhouse operations when needed
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 1 year experience in commercial farming/agriculture
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to attend paid training on farm equipment operation
