Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/social/economic trends to map 5-10 year strategic pathways
- Develop scenario-based models for market disruption and opportunity identification
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof initiatives
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon Dynamics as a futurist authority
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into tangible product roadmaps
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting long-term business strategy
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 firms
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy journals
- Experience advising executive teams on long-term transformation
