Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 5-year planning cycles
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future readiness and innovation
- Produce foresight reports synthesifying technological, social, and economic signals
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish key performance indicators for future-proofing initiatives
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex scenarios
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or thought leadership pieces
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information
