Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks and roadmaps for future market positioning and product innovation
- Conduct scenario planning and risk modeling for potential future business environments
- Present compelling futures insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Partner with R&D to translate future trends into actionable R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership content and industry reports on future trends
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategy, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused planning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership or portfolio of future-focused projects
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on transformational initiatives
