Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal trends to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to integrate foresight into product development
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ industry verticals
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Monitor global regulatory shifts and geopolitical impacts on business strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Published research or speaking engagements on emerging technologies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
