Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, economics, and environmental domains
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026+ business trajectories and competitive landscapes
- Translate foresight insights into executable strategic initiatives for executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and operations
- Monitor global disruptors and geopolitical shifts with strategic impact assessments
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks, academic partnerships, and industry thought leaders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and internal strategic briefings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation leadership with proven future-facing impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience in tech, sustainability, or healthcare sectors strongly preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
