Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through quantitative research and qualitative foresight
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026+ horizons aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership content and frameworks published in top-tier industry publications
- Integrate ethical foresight principles into all strategic planning processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., CFPC preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic futures projects
