Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 200+ global trend sources to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Author quarterly strategic briefs for executive board on emerging risks and opportunities
- Build proprietary foresight models using predictive analytics and machine learning
- Represent company at global futurist forums and academic symposia
- Mentor innovation teams in adopting anticipatory intelligence methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published scenario-planning work for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, causal layered analysis)
- Experience designing organizational foresight programs and innovation pipelines
- Track record translating foresight into measurable business outcomes
