As a Futurist Strategist, you'll work in our cutting-edge San Francisco hub, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop predictive frameworks and actionable strategies. Your insights will directly influence how global organizations prepare for 2030+ landscapes, from AI ethics to sustainable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Develop scenario-planning models for clients across finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Produce trend reports and strategic briefs using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong command of AI/ML, biotech, and climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author or keynote speaker in future-focused forums
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
