Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies, regulatory shifts, and socio-cultural transformations impacting our industry
- Design and implement future-proofing strategies for product development, market positioning, and operational resilience
- Produce executive-ready strategic briefings and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Mentor a dedicated team of strategic analysts while fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated success in translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their socioeconomic impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in Fortune 500 environments
