Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market disruptions and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-focused thinking into product development
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports for executive board and investor audiences
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and implement innovation KPIs measuring long-term strategic impact
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight community
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in scenario planning or strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or thought leadership
