Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, bioengineering) with 2026+ market impact
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' trend reports with actionable strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and test exponential technology applications
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and advise on responsible deployment
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex foresight data into compelling narratives for stakeholders across all levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight role
- Proven track record of published trend reports or market-shaping predictions
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning methodologies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation implementation from foresight insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
