You'll lead cross-functional labs, publish proprietary foresight frameworks, and influence C-suite strategy while mentoring next-gen innovators.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual Horizon Scanning reports on disruptive technologies (2026-2030)
- Design scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership teams
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping future-state solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of academic, industry, and government futurists
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Proven track record publishing trend reports or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, synthetic biology, or quantum computing
- Experience leading executive-level workshops (C-suite to VP level)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation patents
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Boston, Shenzhen)
