Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and cultural trends to develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps for core business units, aligning with long-term vision
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts (AR/VR, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling data narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Develop patentable intellectual property around breakthrough innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, Innovation Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight at Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Proven track record of developing and executing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three major innovation initiatives brought to market
