Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop and present strategic future scenarios to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating exponential technologies and human-centered design
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future opportunities
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and emerging market entry strategy development
- Author thought leadership content and foresight frameworks for industry adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-focused concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of delivering executive-level foresight briefings and scenario plans
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, MBA, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future concepts
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications
- Strong network with futurists, VCs, and innovation thought leaders
