Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, biotech convergence, climate tech) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AR/VR integration)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product development with future human needs
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive stakeholders and investors
- Design innovation pipelines incorporating sustainability and accessibility principles
- Monitor patent landscapes and academic research for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists using structured horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy or technology foresight role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech (AGI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience with strategic roadmapping tools (e.g., Horace, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations
