Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate resilience) and translate insights into strategic roadmaps for 2026
- Develop foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to guide R&D investments and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in emerging domains
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight findings into 5-year product roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on future technology impacts
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author annual Horizon Reports and whitepapers on emerging market opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into enterprise-level strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformations
