Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework identifying disruptive trends in AI, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics for future-readiness across all business units
- Produce executive-level trend reports and scenario-planning documents for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate future-proof capabilities
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists in horizon scanning and futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and strategic foresight frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three major innovation initiatives launched in the past 5 years
