- Conduct horizon-scanning research on global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and disruptive startups
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for early-stage technology adoption
- Present future-tech roadmaps to investors and board members securing $50M+ in innovation funding
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and sustainable technology lifecycle management
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists to accelerate technology adoption cycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Strategy; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven 5+ year roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or blockchain ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, MIT Tech Review, or similar high-impact publications
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation labs
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global research institutions
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
