Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market readiness
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for future tech sectors
- Partner with VCs and academic institutions to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and automation systems
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience with international tech policy frameworks
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) designation preferred
