- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate technological innovation into corporate strategy
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems for experimental tech adoption
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members quarterly
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, or quantum computing
- Certifications in strategic planning (e.g., TOGAF, PMI-SP) or innovation management preferred
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M and leading 15+ person technical teams
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and venture capital communities
