Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future tech capabilities into customer solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and manage a global network of academic and industry innovation partners
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology disruption assessments
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and R&D sprints
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (AI/quantum/sustainability focus)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Global perspective with cross-cultural project management expertise
