Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, biotech fusion) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruption and competitive threats
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio ROI and technology adoption metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with $10M+ impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Experience with futures methodology, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping
- Strong financial acumen for technology valuation and portfolio management
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, whitepapers, or industry keynotes)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business imperatives
