Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neurotech, climate AI) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation protocols
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen tech adoption studies
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at FAANG or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/neuro/AI/blockchain)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management with executive/board experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ technology impact assessments
