Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AR/VR, and neuromorphic systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with R&D, product, and security teams
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging technologies across aerospace, biotech, and AI sectors
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or unicorns
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in IEEE journals or similar peer-reviewed platforms
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Singularity University preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating deployment of at least two emerging tech solutions
- Security clearance eligibility (for government collaboration projects)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools like Gartner Magic Quadrant
