- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government futurists for R&D collaboration
- Analyze emerging technologies to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic vision and technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investment decisions
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and technology assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech with proven track record of commercializing emerging tech
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Experience leading global innovation teams across multiple continents
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills for long-term technology forecasting
- Certified in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
