Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI) with 5+ year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 product launches aligned with global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Identify and secure partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and Board of Directors with data-driven recommendations
- Monitor geopolitical trends affecting technology adoption and regulatory landscapes
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and future-focused R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record of launching products with 10-year market vision
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Experience scaling R&D teams across multiple global offices
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or World Economic Forum innovation councils
- Proficiency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
