Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and consumer behavior trends
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Quantify market opportunities and ROI for futuristic technologies through data-driven modeling
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation pipeline maturity and adoption readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to commercialization
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
