Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of 15+ engineers, researchers, and designers
- Identify emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential through trend analysis
- Secure $50M+ in strategic partnerships and venture investments
- Present technology roadmaps to the Board of Directors and key investors
- Drive patent development (target: 50+ filings annually) and IP monetization
- Oversee P&L for the $150M Future Technologies division
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D
- Proven track record launching at least one $100M+ technology product
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience securing Series C+ funding and managing R&D budgets >$50M
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
- Must be able to relocate to San Francisco with relocation assistance provided
