Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of PhD researchers, engineers, and futurists in prototyping 2026-era innovations
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to integrate emerging technologies into enterprise ecosystems
- Secure $50M+ in strategic funding through NSF, DARPA, and private sector partnerships
- Author whitepapers on tech ethics and societal impact for global policy summits
- Drive open-source initiatives for democratizing 2026 technology access
- Represent Nexus at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forums as a thought leader
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record delivering quantum/AI projects with $10M+ budgets
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech paradigms
- Deep expertise in ISO 20700 tech ethics frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for speculative R&D
- Global network of connections with DARPA, CERN, and national labs
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex futures to C-suite audiences
