Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-ready technology solutions including quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interfaces
- Architect scalable digital ecosystems integrating IoT, blockchain, and predictive analytics
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, UX, and business strategy teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for rapid prototyping in regulated industries
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies
- Mentor innovation fellows in emerging tech ethics and responsible development frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles at Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record launching products using emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Certification in emerging tech frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Expertise in regulatory compliance for next-gen tech (FDA, FCC, GDPR-2026 standards)
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of at least two breakthrough innovations
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
