Responsibilities
- Architect scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP and microservices frameworks
- Lead development of high-traffic APIs and backend systems serving 2M+ users
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong background in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
